Over the two days of the festival, SNP Square and other areas of Trnava’s historic center came alive with concerts, workshops, discussions, prayers, Holy Masses, and meetings with inspiring guests. Both local and international artists performed on the festival stages, including the bands Planetboom, Good Weather Forecast, Godzone, Y Shadey, Isaac Records, Jana Zubajová, and Lamačské chvály.
The theme “LEVEL UP!” ran throughout the entire program and encouraged participants not to be afraid to push past their own limits and step outside their comfort zones. The festival’s message emphasized that true growth begins when a person finds the courage to take the next step despite uncertainty. Speakers explored this idea during workshops, discussions, and spiritual programs.
Thousands of young people from various parts of Slovakia and abroad attended the festival. Participant feedback was very positive. Visitors particularly appreciated the friendly atmosphere, the high-quality program, the opportunity to make new friends, and the space for spiritual encouragement.
“We are very pleased that Lumen once again created a place where young people could meet, have fun, and at the same time gain new inspiration for their lives. The theme LEVEL UP! showed that every person has the potential to grow and move forward,” said the festival organizers.
Preparations for the event took several months and involved dozens of volunteers. The organizers handled logistics, technical equipment, coordination of performers, and an extensive accompanying program. Despite the demanding preparations, they assess the festival’s course as successful and smooth.
The personal testimonies of participants were also a highlight of the festival. Many spoke of encouragement in their faith, new friendships, or decisions they made during the festival.
The Lumen Festival 2026 thus once again confirmed its unique standing among youth events in Slovakia. The combination of quality music, a spiritual program, and authentic encounters created a space where young people could experience community, hope, and encouragement for their daily lives.
